Jake Weiss is an artist from the Philadelphia area and has been working as a professional artist for 5 years. After graduating from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2022, Jake has been working in the gallery scene doing various group shows, curation, residency programs, and support from behind the scenes. His work is heavily influenced by the city, graffiti, and online culture.

Initially Jake was committed to illustration, and wanted to be a comic book artist. As his work developed, he found a love for draftsmanship and committed to learning about tools and techniques. His current works are molded by research and study into specific topics, using various tools and mixed media, and using illustrative composition to combine all of his interests into one place.

His work can be seen mainly in the Philadelphia area, specifically at Procession Gallery, Da Vinci Art Alliance, and The Philadelphia Sketch Club.
